Gavrio. Profitis Ilias

CHRYSSA Bungalow in the north of the Greek island of Andros offers rooms for tourists with a magnificent view. Looking southeast, you can see a magnificent panorama of the coastline. In the west, you can see Oros Charaka and one of the main attractions of the island, the old lighthouse of Andros.

The camera shows several seaside resorts, the sandy beaches of St. Peter and Liopessi. In the background, we can see Profitis Ilias Mount. These beaches, Liopessi in particular, are remote from the popular resort beaches of the island. You can come here in rented cars to find solitude and peace.

We can see only a small part of the large island, the second largest in the Cyclades archipelago. The high mountains of Andros are located in its different parts. In addition to Profitis Ilias, which is 750 meters above sea level, there are higher mountains on the island, such as Petalo (994 meters) or Kouvara (995 meters).
