Laurium. Watching the Weather

The webcam is in Lavrion, an ancient settlement in Greece that is also a port. In the past, it was widely known as the center of silver mining, which made the Greeks prosperous.

Nowadays, Lavrion is conveniently located near the Athens International Airport. Many tourists rent yachts here to go to the Cycladic or Saronic islands.
