Vouliagmeni. Beach

Vouliagmeni is a fashionable seaside town 20 kilometres south of Athens. Its local beaches are constantly awarded the EU blue flags for environmental excellence.

If you have a lot of money and want to spend your holiday in Greece, you can with certainty choose the town of Vouliagmeni as your final travel destination. There you will find only superb sandy and pebble beaches, most luxury hotels and dine at upscale Greek restaurants, taverns and cafes right near the sea.

To the south of town and very close to the sea is situated the Vouliagmeni Lake (“Sunken Lake”). It is a small brackish water lake, which, because of its constant and comfortable water temperature, functions today as a year-round spa.
