The municipality of Belgirate is built on the western shore of Lake Maggiore. We are on one of the moorings of the resort and are looking at its embankment. A neat walking area is separated from the road by green spaces, so tourists and locals often walk along the coast.

Right at the pier is the terrace of the hotel-restaurant, Terrazza, where you can taste traditional Italian dishes and enjoy the views of Lake Maggiore. In the summer, many boats, yachts, and other small ships stop off the coast. There are equipped piers where the necessary service is provided.

On the right side of the screen, we can see one of the most beautiful churches of Belgirate, built in 1795. The Church of St. Mary was built in the baroque style and has won fame among tourists, thanks to the beautiful interiors decorated with murals of Morgari and stucco of Luigi Secchi.

The first church on the site of the modern church appeared in the 11th century. The original bell tower of St. Mary’s Church has preserved its original appearance to this day.

In Belgirate, guests can find other architectural monuments, like the luxurious large palazzos on the shore of the lake, built in the 18th˗19th centuries.
