Malcesine. View over the Town from Monte Baldo

This webcam is located on the slopes of the Monte Baldo. This mountain range creates a natural border between the provinces of Trento and Verona. Behind the camera stand several cafes and restaurants, which are visited by alpine skiers (in winter season) and mountaineers (in summer season) mostly. The top of Monte Baldo can be reached by feet by numerous footpath or by lift from Bergstation SB Malcesine.

We are now observing the beautiful Lake Garda and the small resort town of Malcesine on its shore, which is a very popular holiday destination for sailing.

The highest peak of Monte Baldo is located south from here, at the altitude of 2218 meters. The most famous long distance path in Northern Italy, the so called Peace Trail, leads over the range of Monte Baldo and represents one of the most important natural attractions of this region.
