Misurina. View of Monte Cristallo

We are looking at the rocky peaks of Monte Cristallo from the mountain hut, Rifugio Auronzo. Such establishments serve to help tourists who come to this area of Italy for hiking in the mountains annually. The height of Monte Cristallo is more than 3,000 meters above sea level!

You can get to the top of the mountain on the ski lift, which has been functioning here since the Olympic Games in 1956. Monte Cristallo has some of the most popular ski resorts of this region.

In the mountains, you will often find military fortifications because fights were often held here during the First World War.

In the lower left part of the screen, you can see a part of Lake Misurina. This is another popular resort place for outdoor recreation. The inhabitants of Italy are well aware of these places, so more often than not, you will hear the Italian language here, although there are tourists from other countries as well.
