At an altitude of 2,333 meters above sea level stands a guest house, Rifugio Auronzo. If you want to enjoy the beautiful views of the Alpine mountains in a comfortable environment, you will find 104 beds and a large dining room for 130 people here. The camera is installed on the roof of this mountain hut.

For its 100-year history, Rifugio Auronzo has been a very popular holiday destination with Italians. Such mountain huts are often found in the province of Belluno, so it is not so easy to get lost in the mountains because many tourists and signposts will help you find your way in the Alpine mountains.

We can see an Alpine valley along which the Ansiei River flows into St. Catherine’s Lake, located in Auronzo di Cadore. On the left side of the screen, we can see the mountain of Croda dei Toni. Since this mountain is located on the border with Austria, it also has a German version of the name, Zwölferkofel.
