Nervi. Pier. Embankment

The Italian town of Nervi is considered part of Genoa. Once it was a fishing village, and now it’s a popular resort, the cottages and mansions of which are buried in orange, olive, and lemon gardens.

We can see the town wharf, which is the focus of the life of the settlement fed by the sea. There is also the corner of the embankment (on the right, in the picture), built by the national hero, Giuseppe Garibaldi, in honor of his beloved wife Anita.

From the 20-meter cliff, along which runs the embankment, you can see the sea and the spontaneous pebble beach. Local people like to swim here, but tourists choose more equipped places.
