Peschiera del Garda. View of Lake Garda

The camera is installed in the port town of Peschiera del Garda. There is nothing particularly remarkable in the port, but if you walk away from the lake, toward the mainland, you will find a variety of attractions in the city. One of the main churches here is Madonna del Frassino, and St. Martin’s Church is another one.

Apart from religious monuments, in Peschiera del Garda you can visit the archaeological site of architectural remains from the ancient Roman Empire.

As at any good resort, street performers and musicians perform in the evenings along the promenade and in the main squares of the city. Rowing regattas and cycling trips start from Peschiera del Garda. The city is also famous for its air show and other holidays, which are held here all year round.
