Sestri Levante. Portobello Beach

We are on the west coast of the Italian “boot,” on the shore of the Ligurian Sea. The camera is focused on the quiet bay of the town of Sestri Levante. This Italian resort with rich and interesting history is situated in an exceptional location. Along the coast are rocky headlands and Sestri Levante is separated from mainland Italy by the mountains.

The city with a thousand years of history attracts tourists not only by its beaches, but also beautiful architecture. For example, on the cape from which we look at the quiet bay is the church of St. Nicholas. The guests have a unique opportunity to stay in the medieval castle, which now houses Grand Hotel dei Castelli. Rooms there start at $200 per night.

On the public beach, which you see on the screen, you can rent a yacht or a boat for cruises.
