The mountainous Sadamisaki peninsula, captured by this webcam, is the longest peninsula in Japan. Its length comes to 32 kilometres. Sadamisaki is located on the western part of the island of Shikoku, and borders in the north with the Inland Sea and with the Uwa Sea in the south. To the west lies the Hoyo Strait, which separates Shikoku from Kyushu.
The main landmark of Sadamisaki is the old lighthouse, built in 1918. An unforgettable combination of mountains and ocean has turned Sadamisaki in a very popular tourist destination, especially during the cherry blossoming in the springtime.
