This webcam is located on the building of the Kurzeme Trade House in Liela iela street. In this street, we can find the Liepajas Lellu Theatre and the Liepāja Holy Trinity Lutheran Cathedral, with a beautiful bell-tower dominating the entire town of Liepāja.
This cathedral is famous for its organ, which features 131 stops, 4 manuals and over 7000 pipes (and is one of the largest mechanical organs in the world), and serves a major venue for concerts and exhibitions in Liepāja.
The Liepāja Holy Trinity Lutheran Cathedral was constructed from 1742 to 1758. Its exterior has strong late baroque features along with some classic elements. The cathedral attracts visitors from other places of Latvia, as well as from abroad, and is one of the major landmarks of the city.
