Marlborough. Koromiko Valley
In front of us is Koromiko Valley, which connects the seaside town of Picton with Blenheim, the administrative center of the Marlborough region. The airfield of Picton, from which planes fly to the North Island of New Zealand, is situated in Koromiko.
Due to the fact that only one company operates on the airfield, delays and flight transfers happen from time to time. In such cases, passengers can rent accommodations located next to the runway. Koro Park Lodge consists of a few small houses that have everything you need to wait for your flight in comfort.
For more than a hundred years, there was a school for children aged 1-8 years. Founded in 1873, it was closed in 2013 due to its unprofitability.
