Bayerisch Eisenstein. Riesloch Nature Reserve
The camera on Großer Arber is directed towards Riesloch Nature Reserve, where the famous waterfalls, Rieslochfälle, are located. The best time to go to the reserve is spring, after the snow has melted or after heavy rains, so you can fully enjoy the natural attraction of Bavaria.
The total height of the main waterfall is 55 meters and the biggest stage is 15 meters. In the canyons of Riesloch Reserve, you can find beautiful plants such as alpine lovage, willow or blue honeysuckle. There are several tourist routes in the Reserve, from Bodenmais, Bayerisch Eisenstein and other neighboring towns.
The camera is installed in a mountain hut, Zwieseler Hütte, built in 2001. It may take up to 35 people and is one of the most interesting proposals for placement on the slopes of Mount Großer Arber.
