A small ski resort in the Austrian Alps, Kappl, is an excellent choice for those who want to save on winter accommodations. This place has good prices, compared to the larger and better-known resorts. It is popular with families with children, where there is Sunny Mountain Park for them.

In addition to skiing or snowboarding, you can try snowshoeing and toboggan runs. The resort is not big but very convenient. There are about 40 kilometers of different trails, which bring you to local hotels, as well as high-speed lifts.

If you get bored with local conditions, you can go to Ischgl. It’s only 5 kilometers away. By the way, Austria is not a large country, so do not limit yourself — go everywhere you want to.
