Saalbach-Hinterglemm. The Hinterglemm Valley
The ski resort of Saalbach-Hinterglemm stretches for 5 kilometers. The camera is located next to one of the ski lifts of this resort, in the valley of Hinterglemm. In total, about 270 km of trails are laid in this region.
Hinterglemm and Saalbach are only 2 kilometers away from each other, but they are very different.
While Saalbach has an atmosphere of unrestrained fun, with bright and expressive night life, Hinterglemm becomes quiet and peaceful after sunset, with no noisy discos and nightclubs, only cozy and colorful pubs near the ski lifts, small bars and hotel restaurants. The first resort is a great place for young people, and the second is for tourists with children.
The lower station of the funicular, Reiterkogelbahn, is located at an altitude of 1,070 meters, and the upper station is at 1,800 m (with changes). Therefore, vacationers can enjoy long and steep trails, leading from the top, directly to the villages of this Austrian resort.
