Dorfgastein. Community Panorama

Another camera is in the Gastein Valley. This time we are in one of the northern communities, Dorfgastein. Like in other settlements of the valley, the tourist infrastructure is well developed here. A panoramic camera is installed at the four-star Aktivhotel Gasteiner Einkehr, in the eastern part of Dorfgastein, next to the Gipfelbahn lift station. From here, you can quickly get to the center of the community, where its main attraction is located, the parish church, built in the 17th century, in the Gothic style. Another architectural asset of Dorfgastein is Klammstein Castle. It is 5 kilometers north of the camera.

One of the interesting and unusual sights of Dorfgastein is Naturerlebnis Dorfgastein natural park. You can also see it on your screen, but in the winter, it is of no special interest; it is only available to tourists in the warm season. In this park, children and adults can study the nature of Austria more closely.

The valley of Gastein is surrounded by mountains on all sides, but we can also see other peaks located a few kilometers from Dorfgastein. For example, to the west, in good weather, you can see Bernkogel, the height of which is 2,325 meters above sea level.
