Wald im Pinzgau. Märchenwald Training Route

The ski resort of Königsleiten is located at the foot of the mountain of the same name, to the west of the Wald im Pingzgau community. This camera doesn’t give a good idea of the resort because it shows the training area of Märchenwald (Fairy Forest), and trails for experienced skiers are located closer to the border of Salzburg and Tyrol.

In all children’s schools of the ski complex, Zillertal Arena, classes are held in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Instructors can be dressed in costumes of fairy-tale characters, so that children enthusiastically learn the basics of skiing or snowboarding.

On the left, we can see a platter pull lift of the Swoboda company. This simple but very reliable construction is perfect for a small area on a mountainside. There you can see children mastering skiing or snowboarding. For the smallest and inexperienced skiers, there are two special belt conveyors in Märchenwald.

Guest houses are on the right. They are not remarkable, but next to them is the Königsleiten planetarium, which can become another reason for visiting Fairy Forest in Wald im Pinzgau.
