Obergurgl. Mount Festkogl

On your screen, are the slopes of Mount Festkogl, where one of the ski areas of the Austrian resort of Obergurgl is located. A panoramic camera is installed near the station, Festkogl. On the screen, we can see the slopes of Festkogl, as well as the restaurant, Festkogl Hutte, and the trails starting next to it.

Wide open slopes without sharp turns, despite a significant bias, suit both professionals and ordinary fans of Alpine skiing. But, there is a separate resort for the most daring tourists. In the background of the image, behind the Festkogl station, you can see the Plattachbahn lift. Small four-seat armchairs bring daredevils to a height of 2,898 meters (Festkogl is only 40 meters higher than the upper station of this funicular).

The second large ski area of Obergurgl is located on the slopes of Schermerspitze. The lower parts of Festkogl and Schermerspitze are linked by the Top Express cableway, which allows tourists to move quickly between popular resort routes.
