Galtür. Breitspitzbahn Hoist

On December 10, 2016, a new funicular, Breitspitzbahn was opened in the Galtür resort. It is built on the northwestern slope of Mount Ballunspitze and offers tourists magnificent Alpine landscapes, as well as challenging and breathtaking ski slopes.

The swivel camera first shows us the cableway itself, which is 1,805 meters long, and the ten-seater lift cabins overcome this distance in 6 minutes. While going up the mountain, one can look at the grandiose mountain construction,Kops Dam, through the panoramic glazing of the cabins.

As you might have guessed, the camera is not installed on the upper station of the cableway, but next to one of its supports. In the frame, you are unlikely to see skiers because the tracks are laid on the sides of the ski lift. When the camera turns to the northeast, you can see another funicular of the resort, Kopsseelift, the lower station of which is built right at the Kops Reservoir.
