Gerlos. Gerlos Snowpark
Every modern ski resort, trying to attract the maximum number of holidaymakers, has a snowpark where extreme sportsmen show their tricks. Austrian Gerlos is not an exception. The park is at an altitude of 2,020 meters above sea level next to two lifts, Ebenfeld X-Press and Vorkogellift.
The park has an area of about 30,000 square meters and is served by four snow cannons, which help to keep the slopes in good condition, at the beginning and end of the season. All the elements of the park are restored twice a day, so if you come to Gerlos in the afternoon, the jumps in the snowpark will be in the same ideal state as in the morning.
The park is divided into three zones, each of which corresponds to a certain level of skiing. Fun & Action is considered the largest in the entire Zillertal Valley.
Obstacles in the park are built along the Vorkogellift ski lift. A simple but reliable drag lift can carry up to 1,000 people an hour to the top of the snowpark.
