Cape Town. Big Bay Beach
On your screen is Bluebergstrand, a beach popular with surfers, located in the northern suburbs of Cape Town. The water here is not very good for swimming because of the cold Antarctic current.
The camera is installed in one of the shopping centers built along the coast. Here, you can find all the necessary equipment for water sports.
Tourists who are not interested in sports come to the Big Bay beach in search of mussels, which can be found along the entire promenade of the Bloubergstrand suburb.
Table Bay is the main fishing place for the locals. You can still find small boats from which fishermen throw their nets into the ocean.
The main attraction of the bay is Robben Island. It is located just five kilometers from the coast of Cape Town. Nowadays, it is used as a tourist place with a wildlife museum and the former prison building.
