Santa Maria del Camí. Plaça Nova

The largest square of Santa Maria del Camí is in the eastern part of the town, near the Ma-13 highway, connecting the two major cities of Mallorca, Palma and Alcudia. The new square concentrates the main shops, bars, and restaurants of the town. What is surprising is that along with the historical attractions of the town, Taller Damian Vidal Santa Maria, an auto repair shop, is situated in Plaça Nova.

The camera is installed in the southern part of the square, on the medical center building. Tall trees grow on the perimeter and on the square itself, creating a unique and cozy atmosphere. Some parts of Plaça Nova are equipped with tables and chairs of the local restaurants.

Since Santa Maria del Camí is famous for its vineyards, the main establishments on the square are alcohol shops and bars, where local drinks are sold.

On the left, you can see a tall tower of one of the churches of the town. Another one is a couple of minutes’ walk away; you can see its tall bell tower from Plaza de la Villa.
