The territory of Zagreb County is large, but the central part of the city is constantly being built up with new buildings, which are placed in the old districts of the Croatian capital. Bleiweisova Street is one such place. On the screen, we can see a new house built among three old houses between Vodovodna, Medimurska, Grahorova, and Bleiweisova Streets.
Just behind the house, you can see the railway. The nearest station, Zagreb zapadni kolodvor, is located next to the tram ring in the square of Franjo Tuđman (a well-known Croatian politician, many monuments dedicated to him are erected all over the country).
Behind the railway, there are industrial buildings of the Zagreb power station, EL-TO Zagreb, as well as a sports complex, Dom sportova, built in 1972. Basketball, handball, volleyball, hockey, gymnastics, tennis competitions and concerts of popular artists are held there. The stands can accommodate between 3,100 and 5,000 spectators.
