San Candido. Community Panorama
We are looking at the Italian resort of San Candido. It has such a status thanks to its ski slopes. San Candido was also famous for its architecture, which attracted rulers of neighboring countries.
Archaeologists say that, as early as the third millennium BC, the Illyrians and later the Celts lived here. In a new era, it belonged to the Roman Empire. Then Slavs, Bavarians, and other nations fought for this territory. In the First World War, this territory was shared by Italy and Austria.
Now, we are looking at the monuments of architecture from the center of the community. The main one is the church of San Michele, built in San Candido in the beginning of the 18th century.
This panoramic camera is installed in Sporthotel Tyrol & Wellness. This four-star hotel offers double rooms at a price of 200 euros per night, which is a very good option.
