Katmai National Park and Preserve. Watching Grizzlies
Grizzlies are not some kind of special American bear, but only a subspecies of brown bear, almost its brother.
Brown bears are the main attraction of Katmai National Park. Crowds of tourists come here every year to watch them.
It’s a very nice place for bears, it has a lot of clean water, in which there are a lot of tasty, well-fed salmon. Nobody hunts bears here. Bears have a good life and only need to breed and multiply, pleasing humanity with a stable population growth.
