Oberaudorf. Hocheck Ski Resort

Oberaudorf can be placed in the category of the most modest resorts in the Alpine mountains. The height difference on the local ski slopes is less than 400 meters, but the Hocheck complex can be further developed because, above the German village and the top station of the cableway, there is another 1,200-meter-high peak, still unused by skiers.

We are looking at the cable car station, located at an altitude of 800 meters. In this area of the ski resort, there is an additional small lift capable of delivering tourists 100 meters higher, so they can start their descent from the highest point of the mountain, where there is no thick forest.

The resort is relatively inexpensive, so the price of a day ticket for parents and any number of children in the 2016/2017 season was 59.90 euros. The cost of rooms in local hotels is also low; a large apartment for f people in a mountain house, costs only € 84 per night.
