Mykonos. The Old Port

The main city of the Greek island of Mykonos is known throughout the world thanks to the ancient Church of Paraportiani, which is one of the most photographed around the world. It is located near the old port, where this webcam is installed. Paraportiani was built at the turn of the 16th˗17th centuries, and according to other sources, it could have appeared in Mykonos even earlier.

On the screen, we can see another religious landmark of the resort—the church of Agios Nicholas, built right on the shore of the Aegean Sea. Its blue dome attracts the attention of tourists, so guests of Mykonos often visit the church during their holiday.

The camera is located in the eastern part of the port near the cafe EN PLO and Mams Cuisine Mykonos. In the old port, you can stay at the Mykonos Town Pad. It is quite expensive, but the views are beautiful. Double rooms are 450 euros per night.

Tourists can go on a sea voyage from the old port, since pleasure boats and ships that can be rented are moored here.
