Valldemossa. Panorama of the Village

The fabulous mountain village of Valldemossa is in Serra de Tramuntana, near the northern coast of the island of Mallorca. We can see it from the four-star hotel, Mirabó de Valldemossa, in the southern suburb of Valldemossa.

Near Mirabó de Valldemossa is a golf course, which is suitable for fans of this sport.

The hotel building is a medieval building of the 16th century. It costs at least 300 euros per day to stay there.

You can also see the towers of the Valldemossa monastery, the main architectural landmark of the village. The monastery of the Cartesian order was founded in 1399, on the ruins of the Moorish palace. Unfortunately, that ancient structure has not survived to this day. The modern monastery dates to the 18th century. Now, a museum is located there.

Valldemossa annually attracts thousands of tourists with its architecture, music festivals, art exhibitions, and other cultural programs.
