In front of us is the panorama of the Swedish town of Varberg, famous for its large port and resort suburbs with beaches and camping. In Varberg, there is a ferry that goes to the Danish town of Grena.

In the right upper part of the image, near the port of Varberg, is the island of Skrivareklippan, located in the Kattegat Strait. Until 1930, there had been a lighthouse on the island for several centuries, which played an important role in the life of the local port. Now, the island is uninhabited, but you can sail to it on a boat.

On the left, you can see the tower of the church of Varberg, which is located near the market square. If you look at old paintings of the church, you can see how well the original architecture of this building has been preserved, after all, it was built in the late 18th century.
