Seefeld in Tirol. Panorama of the Community from Härmelekopf
Härmelekopf is one of the peaks next to the popular Austrian resort of Seefeld in Tirol. The panoramic camera shows us the community itself, as well as the surrounding slopes of the mountains. Many of them have ski slopes. The height of Härmelekopf is 2,224 meters above sea level. Neighboring peaks are of almost the same height — Reuter Spitze is 2,374 and Seefelder Spitze is 2,221 meters high.
The way to the top, on which the camera is installed, is not long. You can either walk or use Härmelekopfbahn, whose upper station is about 400 meters below the mountain peak.
The ski lift will bring you from the village to the top station in just three and a half minutes. The speed is 40 kilometers per hour. The construction of the lift is unique, as it has no additional supports.
Now, Zefeld in Tirol is a great sports center, but it used to be a mining village on the slopes of Härmelekopf.
