Dubrovnik. The Historical Part of the City

This webcam is located in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is one of the most visited places of Croatia, its cultural and historical core. The webcam captures the shore of the splendid Adriatic Sea framed from the west by the walls of the Old Town of Dubrovnik, called Saint Lawrence Fortress or, simply, just Lovrijenac. On the other side, at a 600-meters distance, lies wonderful island of Lokrum. Lokrum has become a Nature Reserve and a Special Forest Vegetation Area where visitors can observe many exotic plants and birds, for example, peacocks.

The main central street of Dubrovnik is called Stradun. It is one of the oldest streets of the city and it has some special medieval charm. Take a walk down this beautiful street and look at the monuments in the neighborhood. The Baroque Church of Saint Blaise, The Renaissance Saint Savior Church, The Franciscan Church and Monastery and The Dominican Monastery…It is so hard to decide where to look or to go first!

The quays of the old seaport of Dubrovnik are situated right behind its ancient walls. Every day we can see thousands of tourists coming by sea and rushing inside this city in search of unforgettable memories and experiences.
