The International Film Festival in Cannes is held every year at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès (in English “The Palace of Festivals and Congress Hall”) on the Boulevard de la Croisette. When you plan your stay in Cannes, note to take a walk down the Promenade de la Pantiero. The beautiful medieval Church Notre Dame de l’Esperance is definitely worth seeing. It lies on Rue de la Castre, just a few minutes from the seashore.
