This webcam is located in the small seaside town of Saint Andrews, in Canada. This charming town was founded in 1783 by the American Loyalists, which resettled in North America, and very soon became a center of local shipbuilding.
The Algonquin Resort is a one of the most frequented of the local hotels. It was built in 1889 and since that time serves as one of the major attractions of Saint Andrews. Tourism in this region shows seasonal prevalence, which is typical for North America. Significant increase of number of tourists in the summertime usually is followed by a huge decrease in the cold season.
