Delft. Market Square
Delft is located between the famous Dutch cities of The Hague and Rotterdam. We can see a historical part of the city, which has changed very little from the XVII century. In the city, there are many historic buildings worth visiting.
The old church, built in 1246, serves as a museum now. The new church, built at the turn of the XIV-XV centuries, is the tomb of almost all the rulers of the Netherlands and is located just on the main market square. Most hiking routes go by the Delft City Hall and other famous buildings.
At the present time, Delft is the Netherlands’ largest development center of high technologies. That is a level of training of Delft University of Technology graduates.
