Tampere. Särkänniemi Amusement Park

The amusement Park in Tampere, Finland, is situated close to the famous tower Näsinneula, which offers stunning cityscapes. From the windows of the restaurant in the tower, at a height of 124 meters, we are looking at Särkänniemi. It is the second largest amusement park in the country, that’s why there are not only local residents, but also visitors from all over Finland.

In 2012, the park was visited by over a half-million visitors! Besides attractions, there is an aquarium, a planetarium, a zoo and an art museum. Until recently, there had been Särkänniemi Dolphinarium, which was closed due to its low profitability. As for the dolphins, do not worry, they were transferred to the Greek Zoological Park.

Thrill seekers will find a large number of slides, carousels and other indispensable objects of a good amusement park. In 2012, the thematic area of Angry Birds Land was opened in the park.
