Webcam in the very heart of the Icelandic capital at Tjörnin Lake located next to the Reykjavik City Hall. City dwellers and common visitors regularly enjoy relaxing bird feeding on its beautiful shore, where they can watch about 40 or 50 species of water birds.
To the left you can see the Fríkirkjan í Reykjavík Church. Next to it stands the National Art Gallery of Iceland. Among other main points of interest in the neighborhood visitors can find the National Museum of Iceland, building of the Parliament (the “Alþingishúsið”), the National Theater and several buildings of the University of Iceland.
There is also a car bridge over Tjörnin Lake.
