Hämeenlinna, Panoramic View over the City. Live Camera

This webcam is situated on the territory of the observatory in Hämeenlinna and shows us beautiful local panorama. The charming Finnish town of Hämeenlinna is surrounded by numerous lakes, large and small. This is a popular vacation destination with great tourist infrastructure, which includes not only hotels but also golf clubs.

The first settlement appeared here in the form of a small village, established in the 13th century nearby the Häme Castle. Surprisingly, Finland’s first railway line, opened in 1862, operated between Helsinki and Hämeenlinna.

We are now observing the town from its western side. Here can be found such tourist attractions as the above-mentioned observatory and the modern Sport Center of Hämeenlinnan jäähalli.
