Jørpeland. Vågen Harbour

Jørpeland, which has just recently gained city status, has preserved the spirit of a small Norwegian village, which is why it is so interesting for the tourists who want to learn more about the real life of ordinary Norwegians. The building of a former furniture factory that has survived since its construction (1883), can be distinguished from the local architectural landmarks as well as the local parish church.

A few kilometers from Jorpeland is the famous Pulpit Rock, which is one of the main attractions throughout Norway. Many tourists stop in the town of Jorpeland and get to the famous cliff by rented cars.

Vågen Harbor has many points of attraction, like volleyball pitches, fish restaurants and wine shops with local production. There is a golf course and equipped beaches outside the city.
