São Vicente Ferreira. The Coast

We are looking at the coast of the Ponta Delgada resort, from the high promontory, located in the western part of the San Vicente Ferreira region. In front of us are the beach and villas of the first coastline. On the other side of the cape is a boat station for fishermen, where anyone can rent a small boat to sail in the ocean.

This area on San Miguel Island is known for picturesque rocks and beaches, as well as golf courses. For the most unpretentious tourists, there are interesting offers of hotels located closer to the center of the island, where you can find excellent options several times cheaper than on the coast.

One of the options is Hotel Quinta Nossa Senhora de Lourdes, where you can stay for 400 euros per week (the price of a double room, with breakfast included). There is a swimming pool, a gym, and a small garden in the courtyard.
