Anadyr. Sea Port
Webcam of the Children’s Library of Anadyr is facing the town’s seaport and the monument complex to the first revolutionary (so called “Revkom”) of Chukotka.
Another interesting monument is located further east from here, on the territory of the Chukotka Museum, and represents a sculpture of the Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. The sculpture is 10 metres high and it is the world’s highest monument dedicated to this saint.
To the left from the monument complex we can see the largest port of Chukotka. The port of Anadyr is known for having the most difficult hydrometeorological situation among all other ports on the territory of Russia’s Far East. Six ships have settled down in the waters of this port, parts of two of them can be easily seen above the water.
