Kozyrevsk. View to the Plosky Tolbachik

Tolbachik is a volcanic complex in the Kamchatka region. This webcam shows one of its two volcanoes, Plosky Tolbachik, which is 3085 metres high.

Last activity of this volcano took place in November 2012. The eruption started from 2 fissures and continued over a month. During all that period lava kept flowing from these fissures and was spread at 20 kilometers distance from the volcano.

Since that moment Plosky Tolbachik has become very popular among volcanologists and extreme photographers.
