Kozyrevsk. Bezymianny Volcano

Bezymianny volcano is an active stratovolcano in the Kamchatka region of the country. In spite of its name (which can be translated from Russian as “a volcano without name”) today it is one of the most famous volcanos in Kamchatka.

Bezymianny volcano had been over many years considered extinct before its last powerful eruption, which took place in the years 1955 - 1956.
