Lazarevo. Paraglider's Starting Point

The small town of Lazarevo lies 85 kilometers southwest of Birobidzhan. Local population hardly overcomes 1000 people. This webcam has been placed on the territory of a meteorological station on the Mountain Lazarevskaya, 490 metres above sea level.

On the top of the mountain can be found a starting point for enthusiasts of paragliding. Thanks to the elevation difference comprising about 250 metres, this place has become a true Mecca for paragliders of the southern Far East. Several forested zones at the foot of the Mountain Lazarevskaya do not make any trouble for sportsmen.

This meteorological station, as well as the paragliding platform, can be easily reached by a car.
