Vyoshenskaya. The Memorial Museum in the Sholokhov's Manor

This webcam is situated in a small rural place of Vyoshenskaya, on the left bank of the beautiful River Don.

Here, in Vyoshenskaya, we can find the memorial museum of Mikhail Aleksandrovich Sholokhov, who was a worldwide famous Russian novelist, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature and author of the book called “And Quiet Flows the Don”.

This museum is located in Sholokhov’s Manor, the family estate of the Sholokhovs. The house, where the famous writer was born, is today open for public. Visitors can see the collection of everyday objects, which surrounded him in childhood, and get the impression about how soviet people lived in those times.
