Palich. The Embankment

Our webcam captures the beautiful Lake Palich, located about 8 kilometres from the city of Subotica. This lake has been known since the 19-th century for its healing and therapeutically powers. Later on the surrounding territory people built hotels, restaurants, summerhouses and musical halls. As a result, today the Palich Lake can compete with some of the most popular spa resorts in Europe.

The beautiful embankment, that stretches alongside the shore of the lake, offers its guests numerous amusements. The pedestrian-only zone, hotels, cafes, sand beaches and even a casino are at your disposal. If you wish, you can take a walk in the green park that was built around the lake, or visit the small local zoo and arboretum.
