Although Slovakia has no access to the sea, there is Podhájska and its thermal waters, which are very similar to the waters of the Dead Sea. It is clear that the water has a very beneficial effect on the human body and treats an impressive list of diseases, from skin issues to those related to the gastrointestinal tract or respiratory system.

We cannot plunge into the healing waters at the moment, but we can at least glance at the wellness center, Aquamarine, located in the thermal resort. In addition, there are also a kúpeľný areál (spa area) and Rímske kúpele (Roman Baths).

On the territory of Aquamarine, you will find 5 indoor pools and 4 outdoor ones, including children’s pools, a complex called “vital world” (there are saunas in it), all kinds of baths and other things for cleaning and healing the body. You will not starve here either because a restaurant is available too.
