Zgornje Jezersko. Mountains and Valley

The panoramic camera is installed above the Slovenian settlement of Zgornje Jezersko, near the border with Austria. Tourists stay in guest houses, try the local cuisine, travel through the forest and mountain trails, and ride bicycles.

The panoramic camera offers the most stunning views of the Steiner Alpen mountain range, which is located east of Zgornje Jezersko. The snow white peaks of the mountain literally run into the sky and merge with it. When the camera is focused on the village itself, you can see the small river of Jezernica, the Krka affluent.

In the village and its outskirts, there are three churches, which are local attractions. It’s an interesting fact that many tourists, especially those who come to this area from outside of Slovenia, often confuse Zgornje Jezersko with the neighboring settlement, which has a similar name – Spodnje Jezersko. Because of this, local guides and hotels often run into problems.
