Arcos de la Frontera. Panoramic View from the Observation Deck

The webcam on Plaza del Cabildo shows the beautiful entrance to the observation deck, Balcón de la Peña Nueva, and part of the picturesque panorama of Arcos de la Frontera. Agricultural lands and the low hills of the south of Spain can be seen from this vantage point.

The most interesting sights of the city are at the square. Right behind the camera is the castle, Castillo de Arcos de la Frontera, and on the north side of the square is the old church of Santa Maria Assunta with a huge tower.

Tourists, most of whom are in transit to Arcos de la Frontera, as the town is part of the popular tourist route “Andalusia White City,” may be interested in the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, part of the ancient walls of the Puerta de Jerez, and also a huge number of beautiful churches.
