Cádiz. Seville Square

The Spanish port city of Cádiz is one of the oldest in all of Western Europe. It was founded by the Phoenicians in 1100 BC. The compact and densely built-up city is located on the island of the same name. Several bridges and a ferry connect it to the mainland.

We are located in the historic center of Cádiz, in Seville Square. There are various architectural landmarks around the square, such as the National Tobacco Factory and Church of Santo Domingo. This panoramic camera also shows modern facilities, such as a fountain with a flower garden and the Torch of Freedom, dedicated to the 1812 constitution. The torch appeared on the square in 2012 and has already become one of the symbols of Cádiz.

In the west, we can see the Conference Center of Cádiz. It is located in the above mentioned tobacco factory, built in 1829. Sculptures of cigar masters and a chimney remind one of an old factory.
